A White Pack Story

Brooke + Tyler

Four Corners Winery ยท Valparaiso, Indiana ยท August 22, 2026

Some wedding days just fill your cup in a way that's hard to explain. Brooke & Tyler's wedding at Four Corners Vineyard in Valparaiso, Indiana, was one of those days for us.

This was a WPM x M. Childress Photo collab wedding, which always gets us excited because we know we're about to have the best time creating together. There's just something about working with McKenah that God just aligns the greatest couples, with the greatest weather or sunset or magic and it just pushes all of our creativity to a new level, and after seeing Brooke & Tyler's engagement session, we already had a feeling this day was going to be GOOD. They were so down for the creative shots, and we could not wait to see what we could make together.

And then I had my final call with Brooke.

She told me two things that immediately stuck with me. First, she had GROWN the flowers for their wedding herself. Yes, grown them! The flowers on their tables were something she'd poured time, love, and dedication into, and they turned out absolutely gorgeous. They added this whimsical, colorful feel to the entire day.

The second thing? I needed to make sure we got her grandpa on the dance floor because apparently, he knew how to MOVE.

Noted, Brooke. We got you.

And just wait until we get to PapPap.

A Perfect Early-Fall Day at Four Corners

We started the morning over at Brooke's grandparents' house, where the girls were getting ready. We spent a little time capturing those early moments before heading over to Four Corners Vineyard to get our establishing shots of the venue and ceremony space.

And y'all, the weather could not have been better. It was one of those early-fall days that makes you want to bottle up the feeling and keep it forever.

The vineyard was beautiful, and Brooke's details brought so much personality to the day. The colors were rich and vibrant, and I especially loved that each bridesmaid wore a different color. They weren't all matching in the traditional sense, but somehow every color worked together so beautifully. Brooke's bouquet pulled everything together, and the overall look felt colorful, romantic, and whimsical.

Basically, whimsy was the word of the day.

Her ring was also SO cool, and we made sure to incorporate it into the film a couple of times. And Tyler's ring? Let's just say the man had good taste. His band had these gold speckles throughout that made it stand out in the coolest way.

But beyond the pretty details, Brooke & Tyler had something even more special going for them.

They've been together for 11 years, and you could feel that history throughout the entire day. This wasn't just two people getting married. It was two people who had grown up together, loved each other through different seasons of life, and were now stepping into this next chapter with the people who had been there along the way.

Their families already felt like one big family. There was so much love, familiarity, and excitement in the room, and it made the whole day feel even more meaningful.

A Bride, Her Girlies & Some Very Emotional First Looks

Once the girls arrived, things started coming together quickly. Brooke's mom helped her get ready, and it was so fun watching her bridal vision come to life.

There's something about the veil going on that gets me every time. It's often one of the last pieces to be added, and suddenly, everything feels REAL. The girl who has been planning and dreaming about this day is now standing there as a bride and I love that so much. I think it takes me back to when Leonard and I got married, 8 years ago!

After getting ready, Brooke had a first look with her girlies, and they showed UP for her. They were hyping her up, making her feel beautiful, and bringing all the energy you'd want from your bridal party. And their outfits? FIRE. Every color popped in its own way while still working together, and we loved how willing everyone was to have fun and go along with our ideas throughout the day.

Next up was a first look with her dad.

And whew. The tears.

We filmed this one from a little farther away so Brooke and her dad could have their moment without feeling like we were right in the middle of it. Brooke was mic'd, but they hugged each other so tightly that we couldn't make out everything they said. Honestly, sometimes a hug says enough.

There's just something about watching a dad see his little girl as a bride. You can feel the years behind that moment. All the growing up, all the memories, and the realization that she's starting a new chapter of her life.

And for Brooke's dad, the emotions didn't stop there. There were tears as he walked her down the aisle, during the speeches, and throughout the day. It was so sweet to see just how much this day meant to him.

Private Vows & A Love That's Grown Through the Years

After the first looks, Brooke & Tyler had their own first look together, followed by private vows.

We gave them some space and filmed from afar, letting them have a little time to themselves before the ceremony. And you guys, these vows were GOOD.

One thing Brooke said that really stuck with me was how she had loved every version of Tyler she'd known so far, and she couldn't wait to love the versions of him she hadn't met yet.

Isn't that marriage to a T?

We're constantly growing and changing. The person you marry today won't be exactly the same person ten, twenty, or fifty years from now. Neither will you. And you shouldn't be. And there's something so beautiful about choosing the person who's going to keep showing up through all of it.

The different seasons. The hard days. The unexpected changes. The versions of yourselves you haven't even met yet.

Brooke & Tyler have already experienced so much of life together, and their wedding felt like a celebration of everything they'd been through and everything still ahead of them.

Those private vows were too good not to include in their film, and we're so glad they trusted us to capture them.

A Ceremony Surrounded by Their Favorite People

Shortly after their first look, guests began arriving, and it was time to get these two married!

Tyler's stepdad officiated their ceremony, which made the whole thing feel even more personal. There's something special about having someone who knows you and your family so well standing up there to guide you through one of the biggest moments of your life. His words were heartfelt, and the ceremony was beautiful from beginning to end.

Before guests arrived, Leonard had captured some really cool drone footage of the ceremony site. Then, when it was time for Brooke to walk down the aisle, he was able to get the drone up again.

One of our favorite shots from the day was the transition from the ceremony space sitting empty and waiting to the same space filled with their family and friends, with Brooke walking down the aisle toward Tyler.

It's such a cool way to show the full picture of a wedding day. The space itself is beautiful, but what makes it meaningful is the people who fill it. Seeing that transformation from above was such a fun way to tell that part of their story.

And with everyone gathered there to celebrate a couple who had been part of each other's lives for so long, you could really feel how much this moment meant.

A Grazing Table Worth Talking About

Okay, can we talk about the charcuterie situation?!

Because this wasn't just a little charcuterie board sitting on a table somewhere. This was a GIGANTIC grazing table, and it was incredible.

Watching Blush & Brie Charcuterie build out this gorgeous spread for cocktail hour was an experience in itself. There was so much to look at, and it fit the atmosphere of the day perfectly. It was one of those things that guests could gather around, enjoy, and admire all at once.

Between the beautiful vineyard setting, Brooke's homegrown flowers, the colorful wedding party, and a grazing table that deserved its own spotlight, cocktail hour was off to a pretty great start.

Speeches That Had Everyone in Their Feelings

If you thought the emotional moments were over after the first looks and ceremony, think again.

The speeches were something else.

Brooke's dad spoke, Tyler's stepdad shared some words, and then Brooke gave a speech of her own that had pretty much everyone in tears.

What stood out most to me was how thoughtfully she spoke about the people in her life. She made everyone feel seen and included, and the way she talked about the people she loved was so genuine and eloquent. You could tell she wasn't just going through a list of thank-yous. She really wanted the people who had supported them to know what they meant to her.

And I think that's one of the things that made this wedding so special. Brooke & Tyler weren't just celebrating their relationship. They were celebrating the people who had been part of their story, too.

The friends who had grown up alongside them. The family members who had watched their relationship unfold. The people who had loved them through all those different seasons.

It was a room full of people who had history together, and you could feel it.

A Little Throwback to 1997

Now, this next part was such a fun and meaningful touch.

Brooke had emailed me beforehand to share something from her parents' wedding video back in 1997. Before their ceremony, her parents had been pulled aside and asked a simple question:

"Is there anything you'd like to say to your soon-to-be husband or wife?"

And Brooke wanted to recreate that moment with her own parents on her wedding day.

So, OF COURSE WE DID.

We pulled them aside and recorded them answering that same question, creating a little connection between her parents' wedding film and Brooke & Tyler's. How special is that?

There's something so cool about taking a moment from one generation and bringing it into the next. Her parents had their own wedding day and now, their daughter was getting married, and she wanted to preserve a little piece of their story alongside hers.

Someday, Brooke & Tyler will be able to look back at their wedding film and see that moment, too. And who knows? Maybe one day, it'll be something they share with their own family.

It's these little personal touches that we love so much about wedding films. They're not just about documenting what happened. They're about preserving the pieces of your story that make it yours.

The Dreamiest Vineyard Portrait Session

Okay y'all. This portrait session.

I genuinely don't even know where to start.

We had the most beautiful sunset, the moon was OUT, and for our astrology girly Brooke, the timing could not have been more perfect. The light was dreamy, the vineyard was gorgeous, and these two were willing to do just about anything we threw their way.

Long veil? Let's use it.
Run through the vineyard? Absolutely.
Lay down in the vineyard? Why not?!

And that's the thing about working with couples who trust the creative process. You can dream up some pretty fun ideas when everyone is willing to get a little adventurous.

Brooke & Tyler were so game for everything, and we got to lean into the exact kind of imagery they'd told us they wanted. Cinematic. Emotional. Nostalgic. Dreamy. Euphoric. Almost like something pulled from an indie film.

Those were the words they'd used when talking about the feeling they wanted for their wedding film, and we had so much fun bringing that vision to life.

We played with different effects and creative approaches, letting the light, the movement, and the atmosphere of the vineyard help shape the story. It felt less like checking off a list of portraits and more like creating something together.

And honestly, every time we work with McKenah, we seem to end up with these ridiculously dreamy portrait sessions. It's pretty unmatched.

The combination of her creative eye, our different creative lens, and couples who are willing to trust us makes for some seriously good work.

Brooke & Tyler, you two understood the assignment. ๐Ÿค

Twinkle Lights, First Dances & PapPap Takes the Floor

After portraits, it was time to head outside for the reception festivities.

Four Corners has this beautiful outdoor dance area with twinkle lights overhead, and it was the perfect setting for Brooke & Tyler's first dance. The whole space had that romantic, almost movie-like feel that fit the day so well.

Leonard was able to capture a really cool drone shot of their first dance, too. Seeing them together beneath those lights, surrounded by the atmosphere they'd created for their wedding, was such a beautiful way to transition into the final part of the evening.

And THEN.

PapPap hit the dance floor.

Remember how Brooke told me on our final call that we absolutely needed to get her grandpa dancing?

She was not kidding.

PapPap is over 80 years old and an avid dancer, and he did not disappoint. I don't even think my kneecaps can handle the moves he was doing. We were SO glad Brooke gave us the heads-up because those are exactly the kinds of moments we never want to miss.

The emotional speeches, the heartfelt vows, the beautiful first dances... all of it matters. But so do the moments when your grandpa is out there doing his thing and reminding everyone that he's still got it.

It's the combination of all those things that makes a wedding day feel like your wedding day.

From Nurses to Wedding Storytellers

There's something I want to share about this day that goes beyond the beautiful details, the creative portraits, and even the incredible dance floor moments.

As we were reflecting on Brooke & Tyler's wedding, I kept coming back to how grateful we are to do what we do.

Before White Pack Media, I worked as an ER nurse, and Leonard worked as an ICU nurse. Our days often meant walking alongside people during some of the hardest, scariest moments of their lives. We were there when families were hurting, when people were afraid, and when life looked nothing like they expected it to.

And now, we get to show up on a wedding day and be part of one of the happiest chapters in someone's story.

I get emotional thinking about that sometimes.

We get to be there when a dad sees his daughter as a bride. When two people who have grown up together finally say their vows. When families gather in one place to celebrate a love they've watched grow over the years. We get to capture the tears, the laughter, the hugs, the speeches, and the moments that might not seem huge in the moment but will mean everything years from now.

What an honor that is.

We never want to take for granted the fact that couples invite us into such a personal, important day. We're not just showing up to make something pretty. We're being trusted with memories that these couples and their families will revisit for years to come.

And on a day like Brooke & Tyler's, surrounded by so much love and so many genuinely kind people, that feeling is hard to put into words.

Our cups were FULL leaving this one.

Brooke & Tyler, Thank You for Letting Us Tell Your Story

Brooke & Tyler, we won't forget your wedding day anytime soon.

From the flowers Brooke grew herself to the private vows that reminded us what marriage is all about, from recreating that sweet moment from her parents' 1997 wedding video to watching PapPap own the dance floor, your day was filled with so many personal touches and moments that made it unmistakably YOU.

Thank you for trusting us to bring your vision to life and for giving us the freedom to get creative with your story. We had the best time working alongside McKenah, creating some of our favorite dreamy vineyard portraits, and capturing all the little moments that made your day so special.

We're so grateful we got to be a part of this chapter of your lives, and we hope that years from now, when you press play on your wedding film, you feel it all over again. The butterflies, the happy tears, the nostalgia, the laughter, and all the love that surrounded you that day.

Here's to continuing to grow together, loving every version of each other, and making a whole lot more memories along the way.

And PapPap? Keep those dance moves coming.

With so much love,

The Whites ๐Ÿค
